Aquaskinz WARRANTY POLICY:

The Aquaskinz product line is crafted using the best available materials and components whilst utilizing state of the art technology and craftsmanship. Each item is carefully and individually inspected (by two separate inspectors) to insure that our high quality standards are met. However, should your Aquaskinz product be deemed defective due to a manufacturing flaw, we will promptly repair or replace it (at our option). All Aquaskinz products are warranted for 12 months from the date of original purchase to the original owner against manufacturing defects. Warranty coverage is not transferable to a secondary owner. To submit any Warranty related claim, a valid original receipt is required and must be submitted with your Warranty claim.

Where applicable, the Warranty Registration Card should be filled out and returned to Aquaskinz with your Original proof of purchase. We rely on this information to substantiate that you are the original owner. Where a Registration Card is not available, it is required that a dated proof of purchase receipt be sent in for Warranty Registration along with a note with the buyers name, address, contact phone number and the item purchased. Aquaskinz reserve the right to replace a discontinued model with a current model of our choosing.

This warranty is limited to repair or replacement due to manufacturing defects ONLY and does not cover direct, indirect, consequential, incidental or any other type of damage resulting from the use of the product. This warranty does not cover normal wear, accident, misuse, neglect, fire, theft, loss, intentional damage or unintentional damage caused by the use of third party items or improper use of cleaning agents and chemicals. The Warranty does not apply to zippers, buckles, plastic connectors or any other plastic components. The Warranty does not apply to damage caused to the neck seal or cuff seals that might occur during wearing, removal, use or storage. Some states do not allow the exclusion or limitation of incidental or consequential damages, so the above limitation or exclusion may not apply to you.

TO ENSURE WARRANTY, PRODUCT MUST BE REGISTERED WITH Aquaskinz ALONG WITH YOUR ORIGINAL DATED PROOF OF PURCHASE.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS:

To insure years of reliable use, you should always riinse you Aquaskinz products with fresh water after use. You can hand wash your product using a diluted solution of powdered detergent or specialty shampoo (for drytops, dive suits & dry suits) with cold or warm water, never hot water. You should never use bleach, amonia, liquid clothing detergents or the like. You should not machine wash your product or machine dry them. Hang and drip dry only.

CLEANING, RESTORING & STORAGE:
  • Rinse gear with fresh water after each use. This is especially important if you use sun block or insect repellent. The oils and chemicals found in these items can break down the material and seal gaskets.

  • Dry your Tops completely, inside and outside, before storage. DO NOT dry tops in a clothes dryer.

  • Periodically HAND wash Tops in a diluted solution in a bath tub or similar to remove any salt build-up or chemicals.

  • DO NOT store your Tops in excessively hot or humid locations.

  • DO NOT store Tops in direct sunlight or artificial light for prolonged periods of time. Prolonged exposure to sunlight and artificial light with high UV content will greatly reduce the life of the Top and its performance.

  • DO NOT store Tops where gasoline or gas appliances are stored, this includes the trunk of your car. Gas and most chemical fumes break down the gaskets and materials.

  • Treat your Tops with 303 Protectant every 6 -8 weeks. 303 Protectant can be used on breathable fabric, gasket and neoprene materials. BE SURE TO ONLY LIGHLTY MIST THE FABRIC AND DO NOT TREAT THE TOP MORE THAN 3 -4 TIMES PER YEAR. Treating the Tops with 303 Protectant will extend the life of the Top and give it peak performance. Follow the instructions found on the 303 Protectant Product information.

  • You should clean and lubricate plastic and metal zippers at least every 3 months. Use McNett Zip Tech cleaner and lubricant products. Follow instructions provided on McNett Product information.

  • When storing gear with zippers, store them with the zippers OPEN. If left closed for prolonged periods of time, zipper sealing elements can “compress” the zipper and make it inoperable.
